Pool Patcher locates pipe leaks underground with precision! But, we personally do not repair underground pipes.
We work with a great company that we will refer you to to have that location repaired once it is located. Like other TRUE leak detection companies we are devoted to locating underground pipe leaks and referring pipe repairs to a great company.
Do you suspect your swimming pool may be leaking?
We do have a test that you can perform, on your own free of charge, to see if in fact your pool is leaking or if its just evaporation.
This free test that you can run yourself can save you hundreds of dollars preventing a leak detection company from charging you unnecessary fees.
Generally speaking, average evaporation is between 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch per day (24 hours) but, this greatly varies per property and by season.
We highly encourage everyone to perform this test and ensure you have a leak before hiring us or any other company.
HONESTY FIRST!
Can you Patch Gunite and Fiberglass Pools? YES. but..:
Things other companies WONT tell you:
Patching Gunite or Fiberglass pools is not like patching liner pools. Why? Fiberglass and gunite pools require different materials. Materials used to patch these types of pools breaks down over time unlike liner repair materials, so the patch repair on your gunite pool will need to be redone sometime in the future, typically between 1-3 years.
Fiberglass pool patch material is almost the same at the gunite pool patch repair, except you run into other problems. When fiberglass pools settle they bend and crack. Even if you patch a crack in a fiberglass pool, the pool is still bending, stressing, and settling. This patch will alsol break down over time, but the problem still exists. The fiberglass pool will continue to settle, causing the crack to grow longer. This can happen within days or months, but will most likely happen and will need another repair.
Patch work on fiberglass and gunite pools is a great short term fix allowing you to let you enjoy a season or two, but the only real way to permanently fix the issue is to have the pool resurfaced.
If your pool water is green it makes it almost impossible to find all your leaks within your pool.
If we are coming out for pressure testing and locating of pipes, we can still perform this service while the pool is green.
YES! When we come out and locate a broken pipe underground, we GUARANTEE the pipe leak will be found under where marked.
Keep this in mind while choosing a leak detection company. Most other companies will not Guarantee their work, may be many feet away, and often times recommend a new line. This adds up to costly repairs and costly mistakes.
PoolPatcher, has invested in only the newest high tech equipment that allows us to GUARANTEE our work.
Typically leaks are found within inches of our markings but may extend up to 3ft away in some rare cases.
Yes! We have hundreds of reviews from prior customers that you can review.
Patching holes within pools is always a great alternative vs replacing a liner.
In most cases you don’t even have to drain your water!
Our materials last many years under normal conditions. We have successfully patched 1,000’s of liner leaks, leaving our customers happy with many more years of usage left of the liner.
