Underground pool pipe leak located - An awesome example of our pool leak detection accuracy of a broken pipe underground in Monmouth County, NJ.
A gunite pool losing 4 inches a night experienced a leak at the main drain area. The location was patched from a different company in the past but failed.
You never know what your going to find under a main drain cover. Before even diving the pool or removing the cover, we already diagnosed the pool with a bad main drain pipe. As seen here somebody was already within this main drain of a gunite pool prior to our arrival and tried to epoxy the cracks and sepperations closed. The main drain pipe was also sleeved and epoxied by a prior company with a smaller flexable inner pipe in attempts to repair the broken main drain pipe. Over time this drain got worse when all the materials broke down and more settling occurred.

A customer losing three inches a night suffered from a bad main drain pipe. We were able to pinpoint the the location and inform the repair company exactly where to dig three and a half feet down. Once it was dug up the pipe was the seen disconnected from the coupling. It was then repaired and water loss has seized.

Customer complaint of no pressure within a gunite pool. Not sure how, but a #8 plug was sucked into the underground return pipe, creating a blockage which greatly reduced flow to the pool. It was barely circulating!
